Our History
In our 25-year history, the ONCALL group of companies has gained an outstanding reputation for excellence as a major service provider. We have strong, stable and reliable relationships with our panel of accredited interpreters/translators, and supply a full range of services to public and private sector clients.

ONCALL Interpreters and Translators Agency Pty. Ltd. (ONCALL) was established in 1984 to provide professional language services, using the highest qualified and most senior interpreters and translators available in all languages and disciplines.

With over two decades of experience and knowledge, ONCALL has adapted to the changing needs of our clients. We invest in staff, technological innovations and infrastructure and have established regional and international offices to continue to meet the growing demand. Our company headquarters employs a team of dedicated in-house professionals in specialist areas, including client management, quality control, public and community relations and marketing.

ONCALL operates a fully integrated telephone and online booking system, with a seamless electronic platform linking all our regional offices to our Melbourne head office. Each week our booking officers fill over 3,000 assignments in over 90 languages. ONCALL accesses over 3,000 NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) accredited interpreters/translators in Australia. Our Offices in each state operate 7 days, 24 hours. In 2007-08, we provided interpreters for over 30 major conferences and translated 2,500 different documents.

We have an unparalleled global presence that gives us access to a broader pool of interpreters and translators than other Australian agencies. ONCALL has expanded to include Conference Interpreters International, established in 1988 and providing Conference Interpreting services of the highest international standard.
